OK, you've lost me now brother. This has to be in opposition to the essentials of my faith. Not so.
Whatever faith you profess to belong to, there is a notion of a character titled Devil. This character is often depicted as evil and of no good. If this is true, how much power does God have over this Devil figure? All faiths state that God is all knowing and in control of all of our affairs. What about the Devil's affairs? For God to be God, he has to also be in control of the Devil's affairs.
There is no way that the Devil can operated in God's world and be under his own power. God is the CEO, and the Devil is an employee (he may be a disgruntle employee). Through this perspective, who does the Devil get his daily assignments from? That's right, you guessed it, God. Remember in the scripture when God allowed the Devil to try Job. Well who do you think gave the Devil the permission to try YOU?!!!.
Now understanding the source of trials, the way you approach them from this day forward must be different. Don't give the Devil so much credit when a trial is placed upon your life. That trial did not originate with the Devil, but trials come from the Originator, God. When you understand this concept, the trials are not frowned upon but invited. God will not place upon you a burden you have not the scope to bear. When you approach trials with a conquering spirit, the trials become minuscule. You begin to search for more trials. When this happens, you convince the Devil to be your cheerleader.
Now The Devil gets up early to get his assignment and your trial from God. He becomes exited about trying you because he knows you are invigorated to overcome the trials. The Devil sees your growth and desires now to help you reach your full potential. You have now changed the course of the Devil's focus. Soon your Devil won't get any additional assignments from God. Your Devil now sits in the stands and cheers you on to victory.
