Ignoring or avoiding the fact that this is a habit that needs to be eliminate will prohibit you from ever reaching your goal. Whatever the habit is, place it on your mirror, cell phone, wallet, refrigerator, etc. You want to confront the habit as much as possible to the point that it gets annoying. Secondly, tell a couple of friends of your desire and ask them to remind you of your goals daily. This is key, many of your friends have contributed to this habit, now they will become part of the solution. Third, divide the 21 days into 7 day intervals. Resisting the habit during these 7 day milestones will build confidence and strength to continue on.
